Meet Mrs. Richardson, Music Teacher
Hi, my name is Sherrie Richardson. This is my first year to teach music and I am thrilled to be at Sallie Cone Elementary.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Todd, for 16 years. We have three children, Nesia, Neely, and Navan. I grew up in North Carolina. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education in 1997 from Lee University in Tennessee. I enjoy playing the piano. I also like to work outside in my yard. Every summer I look forward to visiting my parents in North Carolina.
Music at Sallie Cone
The year is off to a great start. I am so happy to get to know all of the students. At Sallie Cone, students will enjoy singing, playing, composing, reading and writing in music class. All students will have an opportunity to shine in performance at our Spring Musical on February 13, 2012.
Voices of Sallie Cone
The choir at Sallie Cone is busy rehearsing for performances. Choir meets every Monday and Tuesday from 3:10 – 4:00. Voices of Sallie Cone will have their first performance this year at the Talent Show on November 15th. We will also be performing at the State Capitol on December 9th. Come see Voices of Sallie Cone!
